All you have to do is enjoy your big day while I document every minute of your story from start to finish!

For reserving your date, you will sign a contract and pay the retainer.

We can meet over a cup of tea/tomato soup/Skype and I will answer all your questions and give you helpful tips!

FAQs

My style is as discreet as possible and can be generally categorised as "documentary". This means I focus on events as they happen, telling the story as it unfolds. However, I do give certain guidelines when necessary, but in a natural and casual way. My approach is less about posing and more about your genuine interaction as a couple.

WHAT IS YOUR PHOTOGRAPHY STYLE?

I know what it feels like when you suddenly don't know what to do with your hands or where to look once there is a camera around! But as a photographer I know how to guide you, put you at ease and focus on your natural way of being instead of making you pose or forcing you to smile. It is perfectly normal to feel a bit weird in the beginning, but you will see it won't be long until you will get used to me and my camera(s), enjoying this experience and having lots of fun!

WHAT IF WE ARE AWKWARD IN FRONT OF THE CAMERA?

An engagement shoot can also serve as a "test drive" for you before your wedding day. This is the perfect time for us to get to know each other better and also for you to become used to being in front of the lens. In this way you will know exactly what to expect on your big day, allowing you to feel more relaxed and at ease.

For the engagement session we will choose a location that has a special meaning for you. :)

SHOULD WE HAVE AN ENGAGEMENT SESSION?

It depends; when it comes to weddings I think it is a great idea to have at least a main photographer and a second photographer for a couple of reasons: better coverage of all the moments of your day, higher diversity of angles (full shots and detail shots at the same time), flexibility (capturing different moments happening at the same time), additional backup for photo gear and storage of your photos.

For all these reasons, my main package already includes the second photographer.

DO YOU PHOTOGRAPH ALONE?

I'm currently based in Aver-o-Mar/Póvoa de Varzim in the Porto district but I am available to travel for sessions and weddings nationally and internationally. I love travelling and photographing in new places!

WHERE ARE YOU BASED? DO YOU TRAVEL FOR SESSIONS?

Usually, 12-14 hours. If you need extra time, we can set an hourly rate.

HOW MANY HOURS DO YOU COVER ON A WEDDING DAY?

For a 12h wedding, I typically deliver at least 400 photos, but many times I deliver even more than that.

HOW MANY PHOTOS DO YOU DELIVER FOR A WEDDING?

Yes, I edit each photo individually, one by one. This is how I make sure that each photo meets my standard in terms of quality and style.

ARE ALL THE PHOTOS EDITED?

You will receive a sneak preview with a couple of photos within a few days after your wedding day. The final photos will be uploaded for you to an online gallery within 3 months time.

WHEN WILL WE RECEIVE OUR PHOTOS?

I deliver the photos via a password protedcte online gallery which can be shared with your friends and family. You can download all your photos in high-resolution directly to your computer.

HOW DO YOU DELIVER THE PHOTOS?

I specialize in photography, but I can recommend you several great videographers who share a similar style.

DO YOU SHOOT VIDEO?

Of course! I believe photos should live outside of the screens, which is why I have invested a lot of time in sourcing the best quality materials for the wedding albums I offer. They come in a 30x30 cm format with 60 lay-flat pages and you can choose from different linen, velvet, silk and leather covers. These are professional photo albums and cannot be found in stores. DO YOU OFFER ALBUMS?

My wedding photography packages start at €1950 for a 12h wedding day covered by myself and a second photographer.

WHAT IS THE VALUE OF A FULL WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHY COVERAGE?

Yes, I do! Since each wedding is unique, I offer the possibility to either customize the packages I have available by adding or removing services from their structure or to create an entire package just for you!
